While my e-bike is great for commuting to school, it left me wanting to exercise more and hit the trails around SLO, so I decided to build a mountain bike. I started off with a used full-suspension frame and fork from eBay, and a donor bike I found on craigslist. Combining these bikes, as well as wheels and a new seatpost got me to a usable mountain bike, but I wasn’t happy yet.
